Create then merge this registry file to restore the

1. Copy below and paste into Notepad.
---copy inside only---

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell \AttachmentExecute]
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell \AttachmentExecute]

---copy inside only---

2. Save-as OpenAsk.reg (or any name + .reg)
3. Double-click or right-click and merge into the registry.

No. It means to copy the 5 lines (3 lines of text and 2 blank lines)
between the '---copy inside only---' lines.

You'd never believe how many iterations of that instruction
I tested before settling on this one, "-----copy inside only-----"

Just copy between the lines.

Here's a quicker method for you.

Copy the strings below and paste into the Run box, one at a time:

reg delete HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\AttachmentEx ecute /f

reg add HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\AttachmentEx ecute

Yes, I knew that. But I'm a programmer.

You'll have helped someone, though. Thanks anyway!

I thought it was pretty well self-explanatory what the "copy inside only"
lines mean and you'd only need some help with it if you were, in fact, a
chimpanzee!

Scott,
I wasn't criticizing anyone personally, never brought an accusation,
why do I deserve to be singled out for special attention. What have I ever
done to you? I just thought it was needless criticism in the first place.
Or, put it another way, are you going to respond to this when it's not
necessary, and tell me something bad about myself that I didn't know before.
Wow, I'm such a clever-clogs! No I am not - sometimes thing I'm the dumbest
man in the world and am ready to accept it! All I want to do is try to help
people out, if I can. What is an intelligent person and a stupid person? I
think stupidity is destruction and intelligence is creation. Don't much
like rating human-beings on some sort of numerical scale, anyhow, don't
believe in it.
Anyway scott - love you too.

Scott,
Countless people have asked for clarification on some things that
'ju.c' writes, so you are not alone. Tim, himself, did not find pretty
well self-explanatory, what 'ju.c' meant when he asked Tim to
'not delete previous posts'.
Even as we speak, chimpanzees all over the world are typing
'The Complete Works of Shakespeare' on The Internet - NOT.
A Grande Finale is iminent. Stay tuned!
