Default Window Update

trying to update computer. Error message "current settings prohibit Active X
page not displayed correctly.

Adminitrators Only

to install from windows update you must be logged on as adminstrator or
admin group (I am). Computer connected to netwrok (it is peer to peer),
network policy may prevent blah blah blah.

I did all the other check such as start/run as/differnent user etc.

Please help
