need support about one XP component : smart card base components
Hello,
working in a company which sells smart card solutions, I often install applicative softwares to communicate with smard cards thanks to readers via USB or SERIAL COM ports. I am working on Operating System XP SP2 and I have installed an old software for smart card and I have noticed that the smart card base component of XP have changed. And when I execute a smart card diagnostic with a specific software, an error message is returned telling me : Failed : " the Microsoft smart card base components have been corrupted". I want to repair this problem. So I have uninstalled this old smart card software and I have also reinstalled the service pack2 of XP, believing the smart card base components of XP will be restored by this operation. But the problem is still present. Can someone helps me, please ? How can I restore the smart card base components of XP without reinstalling all OS XP ? Thanks a lot, Yann |
