Default Windows XP supporting distinctive ring

I was wondering if anyone knows if Windows XP pro
supports Distinctive ring either through the bundle fax
software, or through seperate programs (ex. Winfax pro,
phoneworks ect...) And if not is there any known way to
get this to work with patches or something. please
someone help?

thanks

XP itself does not support distinctive ring (neither did Windows 2000 or
NT).

However provided your hardware does, you can get software which will support
it....

try Pigeon Mail n Fax from www.pigeonline.com
