Whats the difference between Windows Messenger and MSN messenger?
Greetings Zach,
You can initiate Remote Assistance using MSN Messenger 5, but Windows Messenger must be installed. This is because when Windows XP was released, a number of these functions were built around Windows Messenger. Now that there are two Messenger clients that you can install on Windows XP, in order for these functions to still work properly, Windows Messenger must be there. ____________________________________________ Jonathan Kay Windows MVP, Messenger Associate Expert http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone/ Messenger Resources - http://messenger.jonathankay.com "Zach" wrote in message ...
