Good day, On my user account screen, under the account
name, there is a notification, if you have unread mail.
Does that only apply to NET. Passport mail or can you
customize it to your permanent mail account (such as
Yahoo...)???
If I can customize it, how do I go about switching it???

Greetings,

You can't really customize it -- it's just a registry entry with your passport e-mail address
and # of messages -- it isn't that complicated. When you log into Messenger using a
Hotmail.com/MSN.com passport address, the # of unread e-mails are just put into the registry
entry. As such, Yahoo would have to write their Messenger (or one of their Yahoo Suite
Applications) to add the # unread mail.
