Dual program password problem.

Both Windows Messenger 4.7 and MSN Messenger 6.2 "forgot"
that: 1. I have a valid and verified passport, 2. said
passport has a password, and 3. they're supposed to
recognize that password and allow sign-in. I've gone
through all the troubleshooting steps recommended in the
support center and via the MKB, all to no avail. Help,
anyone? (Yes, I've even changed the passport password,
too.)
