Odd copying behaviour
So every once and awhile I notice a copy of a file I send to a 2nd pc gets trucated, usually largeer "avi" files. I finally noticed when it happens. I start copying an "avi" file to the remote pc and then while that was happening (gb+ file so it takes some time) I also copied the same file to a local external hard disk. The local external copy finished first BUT when it did both copying routines terminated leaving the remote file truncated!!! That shouldn't happen!!! |

Does it happen with smaller files (say, ones that still take an appreciable time, say a few hundred MB - or is your hardware too fast!)? -- J. P. Gilliver.
