Default "Better" than TweakUI

What programs should I look at that rival TweakUI at what TweakUI does,
or that have extended capabilities? Any really good freeware programs
in the same genre?

Whether or not a given program is "better" than TweakUI is for you to
decide.

Many people consider X-Setup (http://www.x-setup.net/) to be the ultimate
legal, malware-free tweaker for Windows.

I haven't looked at X-Setup in some time. It used to be free, although I
read somewhere that there's a "pro" version for which there is a charge.

The OP asked about TweakUI, not TweakXP.

Freeware has slightly different connotations to 'try before you buy'..

Yes, Ted, I understand that the decision with regard to a program being
"better" that TweakUI is up to me: that's why I enclosed the term
'better' in quotes (to indicate its ambiguity).

Thanks for the suggestion about X-Setup; I'll take a look at it.

Well, I preFER freeware. Whichever: I want to be able to use it one
more than one computer. And I understand that different versions of any
given program might be necessary depending on the operating system on
any given computer.

(Be kind, guys and gals: I'm just starting the learning curve, here.)
