I use "Windows Photo Viewer" to display many
photos. Is there any way to use the "send to"
from the WFV screen?

I tried ''share'' but there's no way to dump the
image into a folder in File Explorer.

It's because Australians can never think out of the box. We in England,
UK normally use "Save as .." to "dump the
image into a folder in File Explorer" as you put it. "Right Click
Save as .. "

Your neighbours in NZ are under attack by a shooter according to Jacinda
Arden!!

'tis unsuprising since we deported many NZ crims
back to there over the past two years. Perhaps
the shooter is an avenging angel righting past
crimes.

I can't find this "Save as...." thingy....

Surely you jest. The WPV is still the best for
flicking thru hundreds of photos with just the
arrow keys, and it can zoom with a touch of the
mouse wheel or "+" sign, and it can delete with a
touch of the "del" key.

The "Photos" app is for little old ladies who seem
to just love Bells & Whistles.

I want the "Send To"... function to send COPIES to
selected folders. Why can't I get what I want!!!

Have you tried moving a photo viewer from an older
OS, into the current OS ?

Some will be blocked by "valid OS" protections.
You just have to try, and see what will move
without complaint.

For example, I've moved a calc.exe successfully from
one OS to another.

You haven't used Photos to know whether it has arrows or not. anyway,
whatever turns you on. At your age it is like talking to a brick wall
and I rarely do that.
