Don't know if is this the right forum for this question
but can someone help?
My Home page has been invaded by a search engine called
secret crush which is quite pornographic. Whatever I do I
can't get rid of it. I've tried the Internet Options menu
to change my home page back to what it was - but it will
not work. I've tried registering the site in the
restricted access part of Internet Explorer but it doesn't
work. Nothing will get rid of it.I have windows XP home
edition. Can anyone help?

Go here
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/

Download "Adaware", install it, get the latest updates for it, then run =
it, and it will remove the culprit. Also, you may want to increase your =
security settings in Internet Explorer, so at least you'll get prompted =
to this sort of thing and get a choice of what to do.

As Jon stated, Lavasoft works well. You may also want to go to
www.panicware.com, download and install the free version of PopUp Stopper.
It will stop those popup ads.

And SpyBot can block hijackers and cookies proactively as
well as remove them after the fact.
