I have been using a shared folder on my desktop PC (XP) without any problems
for a long time. Since yesterday I can't log into the shared folder anymore from my (Vista) notebook, I keep getting following error (translated) Opening folder "insufficient disc space on server to process command" What's going on all at a sudden? -- regards, |\ /| | \/ |@rk \../ \/os |

You may want to increase IRPstackSize. This search result may help.

"Bob Lin (MS-MVP)" schreef in bericht ... You may want to increase IRPstackSize. This search result may help. ID 2011: Not enough storage is available to process command ... www.chicagotech.net/notenough.htm Thanks for replying. OK, first I examined the Windows XP log and it showed 14 instances of the following message: --------------------------------------------------------------- Type gebeurtenis: Fout Bron van gebeurtenis: Srv Categorie van gebeurtenis: Geen Gebeurtenis-ID: 2011 Datum: 25-3-2010 Tijd: 18:06:14 Gebruiker: n.v.t. --------------------------------------------------------------- Then I added the irpstacksize parameter in the register (wasn't present in register) and gave it a value 50 (dec). After reboot my problem seems solved! But I AM puzzled though... How come I've been using the shared folder for ages without trouble, and now suddenly I need this additional parameter?? -- regards, |\ /| | \/ |@rk \../ \/os |
