Default 1809 and RDP

Hi All,

I heard that RPD did not work on 1809. I just set one up
yesterday and it worked perfectly. This computer was
a fresh install of Pro 1809.

Hmmmmmm.....

Anyone want my notes on how to set up an RDP server,
ping me in the subject line or reply here.

Well now. The server side does indeed work, but the client side
(mstsc.exe) does not. Hmmmm. I am going t try to get
wfreerdp to work. I will get back.

1809 is installing as I write, so I can duplicate.

Haven't used the server side on 1809, but use the client most days, with
and without an RDP gateway, no issues at all here.

Thank you for the update! More poop to troubleshot!

Just rechecked and I put in the wrong port number. But
I can't test it as it is doing a YUGE Windows update.

Verified. I had the port number one off.

Thank you Andy, you saved me a lot of time troubleshooting

No problem.

Presume this is linked to your wfreerdp question, does that only use
TCP/3389, or also UDP/3389?

Yup. I give the bad guys fits trying to figure out its port number:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\TerminalServer\
WinStations\RDP-Tcp\PortNumber

You have to reboot to get it to take.
