W10Pro +$49 I cannot provide any info on the processors, because there isn't any. I presume they're all Intel graphics. The latter two might be Iris, with a few extra E.U. ******* https://www.apple.com/macbook-pro/ Display uses retina graphics. Looks a bit saturated :-) https://images.apple.com/v/macbook-p...lay_medium.jpg 13" 2.0GHz Dual core i5 8GB 256GB M.2 $1499 2.9GHz 8GB $1799 2.9GHz 8GB 512GB M.2 $1999 2.7GHz 8GB 128GB M.2 $1299 15" 2.6GHz Quad core i7 16GB 256GB M.2 $2399 (Radeon graphics) 2.7GHz 512GB M.2 $2799 2.2GHz 256GB M.2 $1999 (Intel Iris) The Apple probably only comes with one OS. No +$49 option. Think of the nice desktop you could buy for prices like that... Considering the thickness of these things, every electronic component could be soldered to the motherboard. So if you have an "oopsie" moment and buy too small a storage device, it's quite possible there is no option to change it. If storage was modular, it would add a few extra mm to the thickness. And I bet there's a good dollup of glue to keep the battery in there, so if you need a new battery... I would inspect these items carefully, at their respective bricks and mortar store. Just to see how locked down they are. Think of these things as "SmartPhones with tiltable lids" :-) Paul |
