Paint is distributed with all copies of Window$. Why bother with PDF? And what output options does Paint have ? On an older OS, you might be limited to .bmp . ******* The SnippingTool defaults to .png on a save, but appears to support some other options. I'm pretty happy with .png , and can post-process the capture from there (in GIMP). Paul |

I think .tiff was supported in Win 3.1, and .jpg and .gif The advantage of .tiff is that it isn't "lossy", but that doesn't matter when all you are doing is screen capture. -- Steve Hayes http://www.khanya.org.za/stevesig.htm http://khanya.wordpress.com |

Gosh, what a backwater OS and office-suite you are using, those are always part of a proper OS and a proper office-suite, no need to install shady third party plugins which may install backdoors for hackers to use. |

Aw, Good Guy, I'm disappointed in you! You should know better in your womb than to make assumptions. My last regular use of Office is 2003. I only own 2007 because I got it dirt cheap when I took a couple of college courses. What's superior in the way of PDF printing in OS X in 2009 is you can create a PDF file from any program. The program didn't need to have a PDF export/save function. Could you do that with a Windows OS computer, out of the box, no add-ons, in 2009? Take the blinders off, my friend, and look at the world around you. -- Ken Mac OS X 10.11.6 Firefox 53.0.2 (64 bit) Thunderbird 52.0 "My brain is like lightning, a quick flash and it's gone!" |
