Default Task Manager doesn't start with all the features

When I start task manager all I get is the screen with the perfromance
monitor, no way to get to any of the program or service lists. How do I
correct this?

It sounds as if you have Task Manager running in "Tiny
footprint mode". Double click the border to restore it to its original
appearance.

Why is part of my Task Manager gone?

Good luck
