Default "The Wrong volume is in the drive" + brightness control on vid fil

Hey all, I have 2 problems; there's an error window on my screen that says
"The wrong volume is in the drive. Please insert volume Argos into drive D:."
with three options "cancel", "try again" and "continue" but no matter which I
chose the same error pops back up.

The second problem is that the intergrated brightness control in Windows
Media Player doesnt work, it always changes straight back to 50%. And I cant
find any brightness alteration options in the little MPEG400 tray icon menu
(which comes up to support most vid files I use)

Thanks for any help at all.
