My Microsoft Security Essentials quarantined Trojan:Win 32/Winwebsec. How
do I permanently delete this from my computer? It won't let me in the
History section of the main page in security essentials?

Can I keep it quarantined and not worry about it?

It's a brand new computer Win 7 64 bit i7 processor.

I have no idea where I got this.

Yes, it is safe in quarantine.

Asked/Answered in IE General:

QP
Will installing MSE clean up my already-infected computer?
http://social.answers.microsoft.com/...3-efd9a49d9275

Did you upgrade to Win7 64-bit or is it a brand-new computer?

What anti-virus application or security suite was installed before you
installed MSE, was your subscription still current, and did you
uninstall it
before you installed MSE?

Has a Norton or McAfee application ever been installed on the computer
(e.g., a free-trial version that came preinstalled when you bought
it)?

While you're at it, consider not changing your address so people
who have KF'd do not have to read your drivel because you
decided MVP looks better with a hyphen.

k, 0, Enter (again)... sigh...

(BTW, I just LOVE to see MVP's using gmail... Truly, a marriage
made in computer heaven...)
