Trojan 32
My Microsoft Security Essentials quarantined Trojan:Win 32/Winwebsec. How
do I permanently delete this from my computer? It won't let me in the History section of the main page in security essentials? Can I keep it quarantined and not worry about it? It's a brand new computer Win 7 64 bit i7 processor. I have no idea where I got this. BA |

Asked/Answered in IE General:
QP Will installing MSE clean up my already-infected computer? http://social.answers.microsoft.com/...3-efd9a49d9275 Did you upgrade to Win7 64-bit or is it a brand-new computer? What anti-virus application or security suite was installed before you installed MSE, was your subscription still current, and did you uninstall it before you installed MSE? Has a Norton or McAfee application ever been installed on the computer (e.g., a free-trial version that came preinstalled when you bought it)? (BTW, I just LOVE to see MVP's using gmail... Truly, a marriage made in computer heaven...) |
