Default Outlook Express not allowing me to open any attachments

Just in the past couple of weeks, my OE will not permit
me to open any attachment claiming that there is a virus.
All of my emails, incoming and outgoing, are scanned
first by Norton.

This is happening with two of my sons' computers also.
How can we fix it?
Thanks,
Ellen

Ellen;
Have you recently applied updates to your computer?
Outlook Express:
Open Outlook Express.
Click Tools, click Options, click Security tab.
Uncheck "Do not allow attachments..."
This change that Microsoft implemented is to help prevent viruses and
other bad code being received with attachments.
It is very important to keep your antivirus updated and run it at
least weekly.
