M$ Screwed Me Over ... Again !
PC1 Win 7 Pro.
Using Media Center app to play movies recorded on a different PC2 on my LAN. Installed M$ updates on PC1 that included a video driver they recommended. After the install SOUND does not work. I am tied from my desktop PC1 to a Samsung TV/Monitor via HDMI. All this work perfectly before. I went into playback devices and I only see Realtek stuff. There is NO HDMI related playback device as there was before the M$ video update. I have booted several times with no positive results. How do I get my HDMI audio working ! Simple step by step please. I know nothing about any of this.
