Undeletable file

Have an old file folder which contain(ed) some sports
icons. The system says its corrupt and will not allow me
to delete this file. It said to run a Dskchk on the file
but that won't work because in the dos mode, it states
this is a read only operation. I tried the "MoveonBoot"
program from GiPo@Utilities and had no luck. I don't want
this file but the system, XP Home, won't let me get rid
of it. Any suggestions? Thanks, for your help!

Do you have admin rights to the box? You may want to try
deleting through dos. Go to a command prompt and try to
delete it. del whatever the directory is.

To make it a bit easier, I recomend u use Norton Commander - while it is
still a DOS program, it makes using DOS much easier, especially after a
few years of working with Wins.

Also, make sure that no other program is accessing the file, and if u
want to delete the directory, no prog should have it open.
