Default Text size too small

After much searching, I've been unable to find an
answer. My computer displays all text (web, icon text,
etc) very small (like 6pt), this despite being set up to
the largest sizes in the preferences. Any ideas as to
how to fix, my eyes are starting to hurt!

Chris, right click on the desktop and choose properties. In the Display
Properties window click on the Settings tab and then click advanced. There
you should be able to increase the font size.
