Default SD card not recognized by XP with SP3

I have Windows XP Media Center edition with SP3 installed. I have an SD card
that I originally formatted in my computer. When I plug the card into my
Garmin GPS the Garmin itself is accessable as a device listed under My
Computer but the SD card is not. However, whatever I put ont the SD card
from the computer is recognized by the Garmin GPS. For example, Points of
Interest entries and others such as Speed camera locations work fine. I just
cannot see the SD card from the computer when the card is plugged into the
GPS unit. Any suggestions?

This is a question for Garmin. Does the Garmin require their own
drivers?

Yes, I think that it is a question for Garmin. I did find that they have
their own drivers and it appears that the drivers did not install properly.
Thank you for your reply.
