Default Compress in 13days?

Is it serious that compressing the disk would take 13 days?

Although the function exits, you should never ever use it. If your drive was
near full when you started the process, I would imagine that after 13 days,
it has locked up. Pull the plug on it and reboot. If Windows has gone to the
wall, remove the drive, put it in another computer, and recover any lost
data..

Then start over.

Default Compress in 13days?

Hm.. on a refurb laptop and as I was installing software.. the
available space didn't look too good, so I said, ok, compress.. I
stopped it once, it tried to run another time (before I shut
off).. but after I turned on again, it never bothered me again..
