Default WindowsLiveMail

I'm starting a new thread on here about WindowsLiveMail. I still hope
someone here can help me get WindowsMail working on W-8, but meanwhile I
still need an email client. This one is the pits by comparison. The worst
I've tried so far.

It downloaded thousands of messages from the server, going back to 2012.
There is no "select all" to delete them all at once. There is no way to set
the size or number of email to download.

I can't find where to "set a rule" or "block" senders. Does it even give a
choice?

My advice is to go back to Thunderbird and this time set it up properly. I
think you'll find that it works just fine.

I may have to do that. How do I add the other two business email addresses
to Thunderbird? I see no way to do that.

I use Outlook, but plenty of people here use Thunderbird. I'm sure one or
more of them will reply with details.

Most email clients on first use attempt to grab everything on the email
account's server.
- fyi...you've chose to not inform of what email server/domain it was

Rules and Block Senders are available. Investigate the menu or ribbon
options
- again you've not provided what version of WLM you installed.

Ctrl + Adelete

Or highlight a message and use Shift + down arrow to highlight the ones
you want to delete and then delete them. Why not dump them from the server?

Right click on the messageJunk email add sender to block sender list
