I *thought* I counted 303 in Windows 7, but I wasn't sure enough to say that, so I fudged with "just over 300". :-) But I also noticed that "Status" is in the list twice, Is it the same in Windows 7? You made me look again. I didn't see any duplicates at all.

But on the other hand, I don't object to the choices being there for someone who might want them.

Best idea yet! As soon as I stop laughing hysterically, I'll go ahead and implement it. But you just led to a horrifying thought: suppose Microsoft makes that the new non-configurable default? They already do terrible tings with Android KitKat and later devices over USB, where they *always* open the files in icon mode with columns configured for video clips, which I am *never* looking at.
