New Hardware drver install issues
When I try plugging anything into any USB port, it will recognize there is
something there, but just put it under other devices with a ? in the device manager. If I right click and tell it to update the driver, it automatically does it and adds the device. I have to do this for every device I plug in. If it is for a memory stick it has to be done for both the stick, then the drive. Is there something that got turned off or needs to be turned back on? Thanks in advance for any help I can get. |

Try locateing other devices or system devices in device mgr.,usually the last
set, expand the tree, locate the usb controller,R.click, update the driver. I tried what you suggested without success. The problem is that it isn't
seeing the device being plugged it, it sees it. It just doesn't automatically install the drivers for them when they are plugged in.
