No Audio with MPEG
I recently bought a laptop with XP home version on it. I network at home with
other desktop machines which XP Pro. I have mpeg files that play fine on the XP Pro Machine. When i play mp3 files on the XP home machine the audio works fine. When I watch streaming video from a website, the audio works fine. The problem only occurs when I play mpeg files. |

No Audio with MPEG
Windows XP doesn't include an MPEG decoder. You need to install either a
full package like PowerDVD or WinDVD or purchase an MPEG decoder. -- Cari (MS-MVP) Printing & Imaging www.coribright.com/windows wrote in message ... Try VLC or SMplayer. Both playback MPEGS and other formats. very versatile players.
