Default Windows Messenger - Email address not verified

Hello

Problem 1 - How can I verify a non-hotmail email address in my Messenger?
Probelm 2 - When I click on Help Topics in Messenger, I get this error message: The operation could not be completed because a default Web browser could not be found. What could be the hiccup?

Greetings,

Solution 1:
You'll need to click the verification link in the verification e-mail you'll receive from
Passport Services. If you never received the email or have deleted it, you can request
another from Passport Services at http://register.passport.net/contactus.srf

Solution 2:
You can choose the default web browser by clicking Start, then All Programs, and then "Set
Program Access and Defaults". However, you can also reach the help simply by going he
