Windows Messenger 5 beta, xfer via upnp
Windows Messenger 5 beta seems to handle file transfer using UPnP protocoll
as there is to find following passage in help menu: Note If you are using a NAT, file transfer will not work unless you have a Universal Plug and Play NAT (UPnP NAT). If you are not sure what type of NAT you have, check with your computer manufacturer or NAT vendor. Make sure that your NAT is updated to the latest version and that it is UPnP-compliant. Greetings,
The only public version of Windows Messenger 5 is a leaked beta version -- the documentation is preliminary and subject to change. ____________________________________________ Jonathan Kay Windows MVP, Messenger Associate Expert http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone/ Messenger Resources - http://messenger.jonathankay.com "Dr. Carsten Henninger" wrote in message ...
