Default For info only on ACHI

When I installed Windows 8 on my Asus X58 with an i950 i forgot to set
ahci , I have 2 SSD drives, One is C win 8, the Other Is Win7, Works
Great. in dual boot.

Yesterday something I read in the News groups prompted me to check it
and i found I was in eide mode, Reset it to achi in the bios and
registry and ran Speed tests before and after.
My read and writes jumped from 230/229 to 289/284, an increase of
approximately 20 % So as you can see it is really a great improvement
and only takes a few minutes.. YMMV

Regards, Rene
