Default Thumb drives on W-8

I can't find any other W 8 help groups so have to ask here. How do you get
to see your images on your thumb drives using W 8? They show up as
thumbnails in W 7 and Vista. With W 8 they're just names or numbers with no
thumbnails. Where is the setting to change this as in W 7 and Vista?

Surely someone here must have experience with W 8 and thumb drives.

Same answer as before about thumbnails
- File Explorer/View/choose your option for thumbnail icon size,
details, list, content, tiles

Got it - thanks. I also found "Classic Exp Bar" there and changed it. If it
wasn't for "ClassicShell" I'd return this Laptop. Really. It's not
anywhere near as intuitive as Vista and W-7 are.

There are two icons (at least on my explorer) down in the bottom right. One changes to details, the other thumbnails.
And when in thumbnails the good ole cntrol + mouse wheel changes the icon size.

OK, found it. Thanks. Things are so tiny, including text, I didn't see that
at the bottom right. Had I known MS had made so many changes I would have
looked for a book or something on this OS. I can't find anything on that PC.
I have to set text/icons larger so I can see better.

There is nothing called Thumbnails in Windows 8.

HOWEVER, Windows 8 gives you several sizes of image Icons. You access
them from the View in the Menu.

In view you have three sizes of icons that are functionally what was
called a thumbnail. Large Icons, Medium icons, and Extra Large Icons.

It's an IQ test mate - so far you're not doing well.

I worked on that last night and got everything at the right size for myself.

I know. Computers and electronics aren't my thing.

You will get used to it and it will almost be like Windows 7.
