Windows 7 is a final product in all details because you feel is perfect. New
windows version looks incomplete for average user. As an example I can
mention the detail of new windows version doesn't have a simple wallpaper
made exclusively to show as Windows XP and 7 had. I can remember the Bliss
wallpaper from Windows XP and the famous Microsoft logo flag from Windows 7.
If you think this is not important, I can see new windows versions are not a
final product for sale. They look almost ready but we have to wait for final
release.

People don't buy computers for wallpapers; We buy them to do something
useful and to make a living out of it.

You are really obsessed with posting garbage recently. What exactly are
you looking for? Dell have good computers with a range of wall papers
installed on the system. You could also use Google and search for
something that you desperately need.

Good luck.

The easiest way to get the wall paper you want is to grab you digital
camera and go take a bunch of picture. Transfer the pictures to a
folder on your computer. Select the one you want an install it as the
computer wall paper.

Windows 8.1. Right click the MS icon on the desktop taskbar, select
Control Panel, Personalization, Change the Desktop back ground. Click
browse, go to the directory where you saved your pictures and click the
picture you want as wall paper.

We were to the recent balloon festival in Raleigh. In 40 minutes there
were 40 balloons the left the ground, I shot 80 pictures in that time
and now have a wealth of pictures for my wallpaper.

If you want the same wallpaper on your desktop and on your start screen.
You can do that from the Desktop taskbar, properties Navigation tab.

Hi, Keith.

Select the one you want an install it as the computer wall paper.

Better yet: Select more than one (I use 4) and set them to appear like a
slide show, rotating one per minute or so. ;)

Since I have 2 to a half dozen windows open at any one time changing the
wall paper every minute would in my case would be pointless.

However, when we have company over, I will set up a slide show on the
computer, and let it run during the time the people are here. My wife
runs a slide show on her computer as a screen saver. Of course she
leaves her desk top on most of the time she is working in her studio.

And guess what, those personal photos would bring back more great memories than any stock photo off of the web taken
someplace you have no idea where.

I used to go to Bar Harbor Maine, Mt. Desert Island yearly and sit on the rocks on the coast and listen to the waves and
look at the scenery and just pass the day with no worries. I have quite a few great shoreline shots and gravel paths
through the woods photos. They relax me more than any beach scene taked from Desktop Wallpapers site etc.

You bring up something that I did not, since I was talking about getting
pictures for wallpaper.

But you are right, when you take pictures for wallpaper the pictures can
have a lot of personal mean. Such as a picture of a your new born baby,
or a deceased parent. It can also be a picture as you said of a trail
that brings back a lot of memories. Or a picture of you in your
sailboat enjoying the thrill of sailing. Personal pictures as
wallpaper is so much more that pictures for wallpaper
