Inceasing size of text on start menu
I can't find the answer Googling - how is the text enlarged on the start
menu? I'm leaning over my desk to be able to read it, the text is so tiny. I can't find it under personalization, resolution, Display or anywhere. Changing Text size in the Display window has no effect on the start menu text size. Anyone have any idea where the change is made? This is W8.1. |

Inceasing size of text on start menu = BAD NEWS

If you're using Classic Shell, you can increase text size, going to settings -- Skin -- Large font. I'll keep this info. Thanks. W8 would't load tonight. I had a choice to do a System Refresh or look at a blank screen. It said something about it not loading correctly. I don't rememeber the exact words. WTF? It was running fine when I shut down last night. Don't believe it doesn't mess with your personal stuff. Files like pictures, no. It removed everything I installed including MozillaFireFox with all my favorites, passwords and bookmarks. It removed hours and hours of set-up work. It removed WindowsLiveMail and the other mail programs and all the info they contained. It replaced scores of useless SPAM tiles. All programs were uninstalled. And what the hell are those large black and Orange arrows on the sides of the screen saying "switch beteween aps?" I can't get rid of them once they pop out from the side. They wont close and I can't swipe them away - so I can't see the ClassicShell menu. They cover part of the screen no matter what's on it. How do I get rid of them? I just reinstalled MFF again and have to start all over. Hours I need to spend working and with family will be spent setting this monster up again. I don't see this OS an improvement over W7 at all. |

I plan to spend some time there reading/learning more about W8. |
