plug ins

EVERY TIME I go to watch a video off of a website, NBC, Oprah, etc. it says I
do not have the right plug in and when I hit search to find one that will
work it says there are none available. I go to look for one manually but
there are a whole bunch of them, most of which I have. What plug in do they
want!!??
