Default shut down options

After series of updating (including sp3) and clean ups, somehow my windows xp
lost its response to both stand by and hibernate options in the shut down
option. Please, help! Thanx

Is hibernation enabled in the control panel power options?

Yes, it is and was fine before.

Default shut down options

Check to make sure you did NOT update your video driver from Windows
Updates. Roll it back if you did. Otherwise check at the video card
manufacturers website for a current updated replacement.
