Logitech unify mice
Hi,
I was using a Logitech Anywhere mouse with "unify" receiver on win10x64. I've tried a second Logitech Anywhere mouse on the same computer. Just for seeing if it works properly. Logitech driver suggest me to unify both mice. So now, the 2 mice work with just one receiver. Not very usefull. But, it was just a test... And now second receiver doesn't work anymore, on this Windows or anoter one. Both mice are connected to one receiver. Does someone knows if it's possible to reverse this fusion and to use second mouse with its own receiver independtly on an other computer ? No response of Logitech. No help available for this. Thanks, |

Thanks, A quick Google search shows this is a common problem. It is mentioned on the Logitech forums, too. A rough first query shows... 480,000 posts. Logitech driver suggest me to unify both mice. So now, the 2 mice work with just one receiver. Not very usefull. Not many (rare few) users need 2 mice on the same computer although one might be a traditional mouse and the other is a tablet (for drawing, signatures, or as a touchpad). Most users of a unifying transceiver have one to use a single transceiver for multiple devices of DIFFERENT types, like one is a wireless mouse and the other is a wireless KEYBOARD. But, it was just a test... And now second receiver doesn't work anymore, on this Windows or anoter one. Both mice are connected to one receiver. Does someone knows if it's possible to reverse this fusion and to use second mouse with its own receiver independtly on an other computer ? - Run the Unifying (aka Connection Utility) software. - Go to Advanced. - Pick device. - Un-pair Was this my solution? Nope. I did the Logitech forums search that Paul in Houston claimed to have performed. I entered "unify" in the search box and one of the suggested hits was: http://forums.logitech.com/t5/Keyboa...1098885#M38777 (see MichaelKenward's response) In another his responses in a different thread, he says you use the software to re-bind the device to the transceiver. You never mentioned if you used Logitech's software to bind the transceiver and mouse. http://support.logitech.com/en_us/software/unifying You'll probably want to first unbind the mouse from the transceiver in one computer and then use the software in the other computer to bind the transceiver there with the same wireless mouse. |

Thanks for your responses.
Unifiying software (ConnectUtility) was the solution. But what a boring job ! A lot of plug and unplug before unpair devices. Thanks a lot for your help. And thanks for Logitech wonderfull driver ! |
