Default Get rid of all Laptop Computers

I remember when I had to pay some big money to buy my laptop computer,
and thought it was the greatest thing.

Today they had on the news about bombs being placed inside of laptop
computers. Because of this, they may soon not allow people to bring
laptops on a plane.

Well, after hearing this, I decided it's time to get rid of my laptop
computer. The thought of having a bomb in my home is not a pleasant
thought. I've had this laptop for 5 or 6 years, and I consider myself
lucky it has never exploded. But every day is adding to the risk, so I
want to get rid of it immediately.

I was going to just toss it in my garbage cart, but they wont be picking
up the garbage for almost a week. Possibly longer because of the
holiday. So, as soon as it gets dark, I am going to drive out into the
country and just toss it in a ditch along the side of the road. At least
there, if it blows up, all it will do is make a hole in the ground and
no one will die.

I think this should be a warning for everyone who owns a laptop
computer. Get rid of it immediately. It's not worth dying for.

No need for that. One more layer of tin foil should do the trick.

Because it was a poor example of the genre.

All but unrecognizable, I'd say.

thats pretty funny. Maybe you should get rid of your car too, they put
bombs in those.

Especially the new ones. They shut off the cars with wi fi
connections now. Including the cop cars. Thats how the dealers make
money off of you, they get you to have to fix them, up date the software
in the car. Is what they tell you.... ****, my old truck, it still
runs without software, and you cannot buy it from me, no matter how much
you offer.

I realised it was satire around the 3rd sentence.

You interpreted it as such, but I've seen no support for the argument
that the author intended it as satire. It seems to simply be a very
poorly written piece, so poorly written, that it can be interpreted to
be whatever you like.

While I disagree with you, I believe it was obviously satire, I should
point out I also feel ALL the responses, including mine, are wrong, the
only correct response should be:

DO NOT FEED THE TROLLS!

I apologize for violating netiquette.
