VMWare vistualisation with GPU acceleration
Hi,
I've tried VMWare Workstation 12 under Win10. I've installed a VMachine W10 and an other Win7. I've read it was possible with VMW to get graphic acceleration (for my Nvidia card). I've selected 3D acceleration option but virtual graphic adapter is only generic VGA and there are no 3D acceleration. So, is a 3D acceleration possible and how ? Thanks |

More of a question on how to use VMWare Workstation Player. You could ask over it the VMW forums. I did a search there and found: https://communities.vmware.com/searc...u+acceleration If you post in their forums, you might want to clarify if you are asking about the VMWare Player itself using GPU acceleration in the host OS or having the VM for the guest OS having GPU acceleration available. |

Thanks, I'll go there... For those who are interrested, I've read something about an add-on named VMWare Tools" that enable OpenGL and DirectX acceleration. |
