No new operating system features are being
introduced in this update."

Mine is sitting at 95%, waiting for something...
I scowled at it. Waggled my finger at it.
And, it isn't moving. What size hammer should I use ?

I bumped up the priority of TiWorker, a little later in the
process, and it seemed to pick up the pace a bit. Almost like
there was a deadlock (zero CPU usage).

Who writes this stuff ?

Mine was parked at 13% all day and then suddenly finished the other 87% in
a matter of minutes.

Apparently installed with no problem here. It was probably the
"cumulative update" late-night on a fast Internet connection,
following an update to the "malicious software removal tool"
thing.

My system is (14393.953).

For people who need to know...

I have used Windows system sounds for decades. The two most
valuable are "open program" and "close program".

Those two system sounds have a new use, in Windows 10. I can
guess when a system update is occurring, by those two sounds
indicating unusual activity for no apparent reason.

Those two sounds should be as short and pleasant as possible
since they occur often during normal use.

Such system sounds can be slightly annoying at times, but
they are more useful than they are annoying if you really
want to know what is going on with your system.
