-----Original Message-----
i recently aquired the spybot worm. i looked up
symantec's solution to the problem but i get an access
denied message when i try to delete the file, also,

when
i try to get into regedit, the program starts, then
closes up again before i can even click on it. please
help. thank you.
.
Is the file msconfig.exe? the file that i have

infected
is that one and dont know if i can delete it without
causing serious problems. Was your infected file the
same one?

.
my file is actually cwocwsgmpa.exe. i'm not sure if you

can delete yours. i would back it up and then try
deleting it. but i'm definitely not an expert. there may
be problems just starting windows with the file deleted.
