Default Help with IE

I recently got windows xp and since have had a problem
logging onto my hotmail Instant Message. It is saying my
Internet explorer is set to work offline and i need to
change it through the browser's file menu?? I know this is
probably in a really simple place but i can't seem to find
it. Anybody's help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

Greetings Yvonne,

Just open up Internet Explorer (if you can't find it, click Start, then Run, type "iexplore"
and click OK), then click the File menu, and then click Work Offline. You should then be
able to sign in.
