Default "messenger service" pop-ups

Go to http://grc.com/stm/ShootTheMessenger.htm and
download the program. You may also want ot go to
http://grc.com/dcom/intro.htm for the DCOMbobulator.
I spent a couple of hours today getting my father-in-law's
XP machine up and running. It was infected with both the
msblaster and the welchia viruses.
The DCOMbobulater closes the back door where some of these
viruses get in.
