Please can you help me?

My daughter used her pc earlier all ok but when she logged
on just now nothing happened the only thing comes up on
screen is a box saying no signal imput.
The screen remains blank, tried reset but nothing works.
not sure what pc she has but she is using NTL.
any ideas please.

She's actually able to log on, and *then* it goes blank? That is very odd.

If she can't log on at all (the screen is blank, save the message, from the
time she presses the power button) then most likely the connection is loose.
Tell her to unplug the monitor from the PC and to plug it back in, firmly.
She can lock it in with the twist mechanisms on the side to prevent it from
coming out again.

The only other thing I can think of is that she might have the monitor
frequency or resolution set too high. She might be able to boot in "Safe
Mode" if this is the case and alter the settings from there. At worst, she
can uninstall her video card drivers from there (use generic VGA/SVGA) and
reboot to normal mode and reinstall the drivers.
