Default HSP 56K Modem

My OS is Window XP Pro.

I am having some problems with my PCI Modem card (HSP 56K) which requires me
to reinstall the driver. Unfortunatley, XP cannot auto detect the required
driver.

Can anyone direct me to a "trustworthy" site to download a reliable driver?
I had searched the driver on Google, but most of them are not reliable.

Thank you.

Have you tried the web site of the computer manufacturer? Since the modem's
manufacturer recommends that I would also recommend going to the computer
manufacturer's web site and download the appropriate drivers from that
location.

Do NOT use Microsoft XP's driver download facility for any drivers for your
computer. You should always go to the manufacturer's site for drivers.

Mine is a DIY computer, and I am unable to locate the modem manufacturer
HSP's website.

Try this:
http://download.cnet.com/HSP-56K-PNP..._4-108274.html

Otherwise you may want to purchase a newer modem as this one is apparently
over 10 years old.

Then if you really need a modem, it's probably time to get something newer
that XP recognizes.
