Control Panel Problem
I have Windows XP Home Edition. Since upgrading my broadband and installing
new software the control panel does not show Add or Remove/Change of programmes. Nor can I carry out restore system to any date prior to this. Any help would be great. -- Pam |

Control Panel Problem
What service pack number do you have for your copy of Windows XP?
What exactly does "upgrading my broadband" mean? Exactly what "new software" did you install, and where did you obtain it? --- Leonard Grey Errare humanum est Dorritt wrote: I have Windows XP Home Edition. Control Panel Problem
While you are trying to track down the cause of this problem, you can still gain
access to "Add or Remove Programs" by typing the following into the "Run" box on the Start Menu : C:\WINDOWS\system32\appwiz.cpl ....or just : appwiz.cpl ....or make a shortcut to this file on your desktop. == Cheers, Tim Meddick, Peckham, London. :-) "Leonard Grey" wrote in message ... Control Panel Problem
I am not a Microsoft professional, but I do use XP often. Do you have SP3
installed, install it you do not have yet it is great. You could try a repair install if you have the XP installation CD. Also, Kelly's Corner...or...Korner, not sure, try some searches, may have a quick fix, just search for similar problems like Control Panel something something something..... -- ....scribble scribble scribble...
