Default Need help with a new user account programs/apps

I have Win XP SP3 and have created a new user account and selected
the administrator rather than limited option.

What I do not seem to be able to accomplish is to move applications
and programs from my primary owner administrator to the new user
account.

I get a nessage that says " Cannot move programs Access is denied.
Make sure disk is not full or write protected and file is not
currently in use.

I would like to have IRfan, Forte Agent, Google Chrome, GOM media
player and a few other apps moved to this new account.

Can some kind soul walk me through the process/steps necessary to get
these programs and apps into the new account.

TIA Mary

Why not just install the apps you want in the new user account?

Thanks Mike,

I guess I will have to go through an install for each of the progs and
apps I would like. Someone in an article in Google said that a drag
and drop could be done but I could not get it to work for me.

Doesn't Windows allow programs to be installed so that they are
accessible to all users? Only the personal configurations and private
files need to be kept separate. It's a big waste of disc space (and a
maintenance nightmare too) to have multiple installations of the same
program.

It's up to the individual program to offer that option or not.

If you install the same program multiple times to support multiple
users, just install it to the same location each time.
