Default No Sound when capturing From TV Tuner Card.

Just upgraded from 98 to XP Home. Was running an STB
TV/FM tuner card. Card no longer supported. Replaced the
STB tuner with an ASUS unit. When I view TV everything is
good - sound is fine. When I click on record and then try
and playback video is excellent but no audio. The audio
card is Creative Soundblaster Live Value. The Video card
is Nvidia. DVD's play fine. There was a cable that ran
from the DVD encoder card to the old STB TV/FM Tuner.
There does not appear to be anywhere to connect this
cable on the ASUS card. The only internal connection on
the ASUS is a cable from it to the Soundblaster card.
Anyone got any ideas? Everything is active on the
soundcard - nothing set to mute.
