problems with sound card
after I'ved downloaded SP2 the driver for my m-audio soundcard is not working
- I've downloaded and tried to install the latest driver from m-audio but without succes. Has anyone similar problems?

Try opening system properties,device mgr,locate the card properties under
sound,expand the tree,R.click on the card,then select uninstall,then remove software in add/remove programs,close-out,shut-down computer.XP should reinstall on restart,then re-install software.You can also try moving the card to a diffrent pci slot on the board. Now, with your your instructions, I've installed the latest driver from
M-Audio but the problem seems to be that my laptop is not finding the firewire 410 which is connected via firewire cable.
