Default problems with sound card

after I'ved downloaded SP2 the driver for my m-audio soundcard is not working
- I've downloaded and tried to install the latest driver from m-audio but
without succes.

Has anyone similar problems?

Default problems with sound card

Try opening system properties,device mgr,locate the card properties under
sound,expand the tree,R.click on the card,then select uninstall,then remove
software in add/remove programs,close-out,shut-down computer.XP should
reinstall on restart,then re-install software.You can also try moving the
card
to a diffrent pci slot on the board.

Now, with your your instructions, I've installed the latest driver from
M-Audio but the problem seems to be that my laptop is not finding the
firewire 410 which is connected via firewire cable.
