I wondered what the wheel was for

The inner wheel was for fine tuning the crystals.

The outer wheel was used to keep the roller-mounted
computer room, which had a tendency to gravitate
to magnetic north, oriented to true north.

The TV was used to make sure that you didn't back into
a tree while doing so.

Not sure about the guy in the suit. He's either Leonid Breshnev
or Harland Sanders without the beard and moustache.

Hi

The picture is a hoax:

An additional dead give-away in the captioning is that Fortran I was
developed between 1954-57 from scratch and it would not have been
available in 1954.

Could you guys and gals kindly take this crap over the eye candy XP group,
and leave us serious W98 folks alone? Your attention to this matter would
be most appreciated. Thanks in advance, Bill.

It's a monstrous thing arching it's top to engulf a fat scientist,
predicted to arrive in 2004. Isn't that when XP started!?

For those poor souls who are still lost in here, once again, here is the
road map:

op system inquiries === win98 general
eye candy inquiries === winXP colonel

no kernels allowed.

Your attention to this matter is (again) most appreciated!!
